I’m Having A Complication

Abortion Complications

In addition to providing abortions, Dr Seletz does evaluations and provides treatment for abortion complications that were done somewhere else– both the medical and the procedural abortion aftercare in Beverly Hills.

Abortion complications frequently appear as prolonged bleeding, pelvic pain, fever, or a feeling that the symptoms of pregnancy never went away. If you have had either a medical or a procedural abortion and think you’re having a complication, call us. Experiencing severe pain, vomiting, heavy bleeding, clots, or feeling faint, may be signs of septic or hemorrhagic shock and should go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

If you are pregnant and do not have a doctor, or your doctor cannot schedule you for more than a week, Dr. Seletz will see you for an early pregnancy confirmation to make sure the pregnancy is normal. She also specializes in high-risk pregnancy care in Los Angeles. Experiencing bleeding or pain may be a sign of something more serious, like an ectopic pregnancy. If caught early, it can be treated with medication rather than surgery. However, heavy bleeding combined with pain may be a miscarriage. We are able to see patients with high-risk pregnancies, or those experiencing complications for a same-day or next-day appointment in Beverly Hills.
